OUR VISION
OUR MISSION
At Sadieville Christian Church, our vision burns bright with a passion for bringing people closer to Jesus, especially those who may feel disconnected or lost. Here's why we're committed to this mission:
Nurturing Growth: Just as a seed needs nourishment to flourish, we believe that every individual deserves the opportunity to grow in their faith and relationship with Jesus.
Building Community: We strive to create a welcoming and inclusive community where everyone feels valued, accepted, and supported on their spiritual journey.
Reaching Out: Whether near or far, we're dedicated to reaching out to individuals from all walks of life, sharing the transformative love and message of Jesus.
Inspiring Hope: In a world filled with challenges and uncertainties, we aim to be a beacon of hope, shining God's light into the lives of those who need it most.
Extending Grace: Just as Jesus welcomed all with open arms, we seek to extend grace and compassion to everyone, regardless of their background or circumstances.
Prayerful Guidance: Through prayer and guidance, we trust in God's plan to lead us in connecting the unconnected to Jesus, one soul at a time.
Join us as we embark on this incredible journey of faith, love, and service. Together, let's make a difference in the lives of those around us, bringing them closer to the everlasting joy and peace found in Jesus Christ.
Blessings, Sadieville Christian Church
Founded in 1892, our mission has always been to "preach the Good News to all creation" as stated in the Great Commission in Mark 16:15. We believe:
-
The Bible is the authoritative, infallible word of God. Revelations 22:18-19
-
Jesus Christ is the son of the living God and our Savior. Matthew 16:16
-
Jesus Christ was born to the virgin Mary, he died on the cross and was resurrected to save us and extend the promise of eternal life to all believers. Acts 2:23-24 and Acts 2:38-39
-
The Holy Spirit is the spirit of God and lives within Christian believers. Acts 2:38
-
The confession of faith, repentance and baptism by immersion are the acts that demonstrate Christian obedience. Matthew 28:19-20 and Acts 2:83
-
The Lord's Supper is observed every week in remembrance of our Savior. Matthew 26:26-28
-
Tithing and good stewardship of God's resources are evidence of our faith in God as our provider. Luke 6:38
We hope you will join us as we reach out with God's message to save as many as are willing to come to our Lord Jesus!
